A stand-alone condo at the base of Big Sky’s intermediate Silver Knife run, Arrowhead #1667 is a private ski-in, ski-out escape in the heart of Big Sky’s lively Mountain Village.
The classic A-frame architecture and relaxed, alpine chic decor bring to mind the retro-inspired apres-ski scenes of artist Charlie Adam, complete with vaulted ceilings. Lounge in one of two red leather armchairs or relax on one of the sleek leather sofas, accented by Southwestern throw pillows, and catch a film on the flat-screen TV, or simply watch the charming Village atmosphere outside from the big picture windows.
The living area opens to a well-stocked chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, stylish metallic wall paneling and a cherry-red tea kettle. Four black leather stools provide seating at the counter for sipping coffee in the morning, or keeping the chef entertained. An 8-seat dining area, eclectically styled with six metallic-style club chairs and two classic formal dining chairs at each end, ensures plenty of room for home-cooked dinners.
A private laundry room, ski equipment room, and wood-paneled sunroom with an indoor hot tub overlooking the ski slope outside through a big picture window are also on this level.
Downstairs, you’ll find three of four bedrooms, each with hardwood floors and clean, minimalist decor. The master bedroom, artfully decorated with nature-inspired oil paintings and a flat-screen TV, features an en-suite bathroom with a separate vanity and sink conveniently located outside the enclosed area. The second bedroom, cheerfully styled with natural wood and turquoise coloring, features a queen bed with a unique starburst-patterned wood frame and a luxurious fur throw. The room also has a full chest of drawers in the same starburst design, twin nightstands, and an en-suite bath. As with the master, the vanity and sink are in the bedroom, separate from the enclosed bathroom.
The third bedroom features a twin-over-full Captain’s bunk bed with plush bedding, a sunny yellow accent throw, a starburst-patterned, wood-paneled dresser, and pastel artwork.
The fourth bedroom, sun-drenched with vaulted ceilings, offers total privacy as the only room on the top floor. The centerpiece of the room is a king-sized bed with a minimalist hardwood frame, and a room-brightening, crocheted accent blanket in sunflower-yellow complementing a cornflower blue comforter and classic white bedding. This room also features a sink and vanity separate from the enclosed en-suite bathroom.
Outside, a full-length deck offers Village and mountain views, while a separate rear deck features a gas grill. From your front door, easily walk to the Ramcharger high-speed 8-pack chairlift or the Swift Current high-speed quad for access to a variety of terrain, from bowls and steeps for advanced skiers to novice-friendly green runs. During the summer, explore more than 40 miles of trails right from the Village area, including lift-served mountain biking. Big Sky Resort also offers disc golf, archery and zipline rides.
After a day on the mountain, refuel with a burger at the Montana Dinner Yurt or savor grilled chicken and goat cheese (among other tasty Tuscany-inspired dishes) at Andiamo Italian Grille. You’ll have plenty of options in the Village. To find new adventures in the town of Big Sky, located just 10 minutes away, guests can take advantage of a 1-car garage. The Western entrance of Yellowstone National Park is accessible in just over an hour.
