Built in 2015—and named by Architectural Digest among the world's "9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins"—the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The clean lines of Tanager House's modern design create a tranquil yet warm abode with mountain-modern decor and nature-inspired accents, showcasing many pieces by Montana artists.



In the light-flooded great room sits a spacious new modern sectional that comfortably seats several, paired with 2 mid-century lounge chairs. This is the perfect setting to talk, play games, or watch TV while being warmed by the large gas fireplace. A glass door leads to a deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, a gas grill, and a private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The living area flows into the dining area, complete with a new custom stone table that seats 10 or more people and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen—featuring granite countertops and hardwood cabinetry in an open floor plan that facilitates a social atmosphere while preparing and enjoying meals together.



This main level also has a separate laundry room/mudroom, 2 of the 4 bedrooms, a primary bathroom, and a large shared bathroom. The primary suite features a new king-sized bed, new marble-top nightstands, and a glass door leading to the deck and hot tub. The second bedroom is furnished with a new king-sized bed, new nightstands, a new desk, and a TV.



The third and fourth bedrooms are on the upper floor, with a shared bathroom. One of these bedrooms is furnished with a new king-sized bed, new marble-top nightstands, and a new custom desk. The other upstairs bedroom has a new full-over-full bunk bed, a new desk, and a TV. The home was updated in 2021-2022 with new carpet, new furniture, new window treatments, new lighting fixtures, as well as new art. Tanager House has a one-car private garage customized to store your skiing, snowboarding, or biking equipment in addition to your vehicle.



However, if you decide to experience Big Sky Country, this tranquil, ski-in/ski-out escape offers the perfect home base to relax, rejuvenate, and connect with family and friends.



For ski-in/ski-out access, follow the snowshoe path along the side of the garage that leads to the groomed Natawista Run located off the back porch. Follow Natawista across the ski bridge and down to the Madison Village base area, where ski and snowboard lessons are available, or continue to the base of the Derringer for beginner terrain and Six Shooter Lifts for access to the entire mountain. To get home from Iron Horse Lift or Six Shooter Lift, take Lazy Jack to the Cinnabar and Powder River intersection, and continue to the left to stay on Cinnabar. Pass through the tunnel, and continue right onto Natawista Run, where guest
