This private, modern cabin sits on the green Swift Bear ski run for easy access to a wide variety of family-friendly terrain. Drive 5 minutes to apres-ski at Big Sky Mountain Village and just 15 minutes to restaurants, shops and entertainment at Big Sky Town Center.

Custom-built with durfeld logs from British Columbia and hand-peeled red cedar, Moon Rider Ski Chalet will delight enthusiasts of mountain architecture and design with its use of natural materials. You’ll find skip-sawed fir wood floors in the living areas, slate tile and copper sinks in the bathrooms, and granite countertops throughout.

Ideal for families, the home boasts two living areas and kitchens, a loft office, multiple decks and a private hot tub.

The home centers on a two-story great room, styled in Southwestern decor, where a floor-to-ceiling window frames a dramatic view of Lone Peak. Two full-length leather sofas and cheerful red leather armchairs surround a unique coffee table in the style of a Native American drum. Gather for cozy evenings around the large-screen Smart TV and wood-burning fireplace -- a custom soap-stone boulder piece by Tulikivi, crafted in Finland and rebuilt in the home.

With seamless flow between the living and dining areas, guests can interact with each other from the kitchen breakfast bar, dining table, or living room.

The country-style kitchen features custom hardwood cabinetry, granite countertops and four stools at the breakfast bar, ideal for morning coffee. Your inner chef will be inspired by the induction cooktop and Wolf oven. Enjoy sit-down meals at the round, 8-seat dining table with a view of the main-level deck.

Above the 2-car garage is a separate living area with a wrap-around sofa, large-screen Smart TV, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms. and 4-seat dining area. This area also has a laundry room and 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers. A small balcony offers views of Lone Peak while a large private deck overlooks the woodland grounds outside.

Five bedrooms, evenly spaced for privacy, comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests:
